If you haven't had a primary care before they will allow you to see an assistant to evaluate if you can see them. Sounds like a ploy to ensure people with out insurance can't get in the door. (I do have insurance, but can't stand doctors who take advantage of those who don't.) AVOID. Poor form.
Good luck trying to become a new patient. They want EVERY doctor note and file from ANY doctor you've ever seen. Once they receive and review they will decide if you are honored enough to become a patient.
